THEME for INFOCOM 2020: THE NEXT NORMAL

As the world continues to grapple with the global pandemic and it’s far reaching implications, it is certain that life as we know it may not soon return to 100% normalcy. The world of work across industries and domains is making a fundamental shift to address the biggest business disruption anyone has ever seen.

While for some organization, near-term survival is the only agenda, others are thinking about getting out of this uncertainty phase and positioning themselves once the crisis has passed and things return to normal. There is also a third set of organizations that have looked at this crisis as an incredible opportunity and have changed the way businesses can operate.

But the question remains ‘what will normal look like?’ While we do not know how long the crisis will last, normal will not be like that of recent years. Our era will be defined by: the period before COVID-19, the new normal with COVID-19 and the post viral era – THE NEXT NORMAL where we emerge from the battle against COVID-19. As we build our economies, lives and livelihood and prepare for the next normal, our priorities will change and so must organizations across the globe as we build Resilience and Reimagine our worlds.

INFOCOM 2020 conference will provide a platform for various industry stalwarts and leaders to talk about the various strategies that organizations have adapted in this crisis and how they plan to make a comeback in the Next Normal.
