Is ‘Integrate. Converge. Transform’ - The New Mantra for CIO Success?
Amalgamated Plantations has taken a recourse to technology and is setting an example among other companies in the region. We have more than 800 tea gardens in Assam and many of them are in the remote areas of the state where connectivity is poor, even mobile connectivity is scarce. We as a company have digitized our entire system and have become the pioneer of digital integration in the tea industry in the region. We have also started an E- Hospital project under which all hospitals in our respective tea garden areas are connected to our hub. All doctors and specialists are available in our hub where they interact with the patients through video conferencing connecting people in the remotest areas.
