Businessworld was launched in 1981 with the aim of bringing alive the excitement of business in India. After turning weekly in 1999, there has been no looking back. Nasscom is the apex body and Chamber of Commerce of computer software and service driven IT industry in India. It has emerged as a single point reference for any information on the Indian software industry. Nasscom is a not-for-profit organisation consisting of more than 870 member companies representing more than 95 percent of revenues of IT software and services industry in India.
