INFOCOM - ASSOCHAM announces the 2nd edition of the EME Awards 2011
-An award to recognize excellence in media & entertainment

INFOCOM - ASSOCHAM presents the the 2nd edition of the International Competition for Excellence in Media & Entertainment (EME Awards) to recognize the highest talent in Animation & VFX being held on 10th December, 2011 at The ITC Sonar in Calcutta.
The objective of this Award is to provide greater encouragement and impetus to the players in the field of Media & Entertainment. The focus this year at EME will be Animation & VFX, since this field has become an integral part of the Media & Entertainment (M&E) business leading to higher growth & greater advancement of the M&E economy.

THE FORMAT

• All animation institutes, organizations and individuals can participate
• Participants need to submit three copies of DVD for each content separately along with all relevant documents and other enclosures as applicable
• Evaluation will be done by a distinguished panel comprising of industry experts
• All the winners in the respective categories will be awarded the EME trophy at the award ceremony on 10th December, 2011 in Calcutta at the ITC Sonar

THE PROGRAMME

The event is expected to receive participation from over 300 delegates from the Media & Entertainment industry. Top celebrities & dignitaries associated with entertainment and media will be a part of the delegate profile for the awards.
The INFOCOM-ASSOCHAM EME Awards 2011 will be a part of the special M&E Conference hosted jointly by INFOCOM and ASSOCHAM. The inaugural ceremony for the conference will commence at 9.30 am which will be followed by the EME Awards at 6.00 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the ITC Sonar in Calcutta.
