Forums @ INFOCOM

Day 1:

Track A: Strategy Forum

The Strategy Forum will bring together leaders from various industries to deliberate on Corporate Inclusivity. Strategies to suit the ever changing demands of customers, building competitive advantage and ensuring long term sustenance for their organizations will be defined.

There will be special focus on creating the new millennium corporate leaders, ensuring employee empowerment, enforcing gender equity and transforming organizational culture through inclusivity.

Track B: India Inc. Forum

Global experts and policymakers at the India Inc. Forum will focus on financial and digital inclusion, and the empowerment of modern India with ICT. Ways to bridge the digital divide and promote best practices that facilitate cross sector learnings for organisations working towards inclusive growth be discussed. India Inc. Forum will see experts sharing their experiences and identifying key factors in these services which will help the underprivileged in India through technology enablement. They will also highlight the social impact of offering the same.

Day 2:

Track A: Technology Forum

The Technology Forum will focus on technological developments in areas like unified communication, business analytics for measuring performance and industry trends. It will also address the modern day needs of CIOs and the need to adapt quickly with the changing trends to maximize on organizational growth.

Track B: Infrastructure Forum

The Infrastructure Forum will have national and international experts deliberating on the different aspects of urban transformation, development and building IT enabled smart cities in the near future. Thought leaders will elaborate on the role of ICT in globalizing the world. And how the needs of IT infrastructure can be addressed by emerging cloud based applications. Together they will discuss ways to cope with rapid urbanization in the shape of building infrastructure, information security, sustainable engineering architecture, health infrastructure, transportation, power shortages, supply interruptions and more.

Global Universities Forum

The Global Universities Forum will deal with the problems that have risen with the globalization of Education. At the forum, ways to bridge the gap between universities across the world will be discussed. Focused attention will be given to find means to standardize the level of education provided in India and abroad. Global academicians and thought leaders will also chart out an action plan for Indian Universities to build next generation entrepreneurs and leaders.

Day 3:

Track A: INFOCOM-ASSOCHAM Media & Entertainment Forum

INFOCOM will partner ASSOCHAM in bringing forth the second edition of the Media & Entertainment Forum. This year’s theme, ‘Convergence towards Inclusive Growth’ will bring together veterans in the industry and those in media, entertainment and technology. Together they will brainstorm and re-discover the visions for an IT enabled Media & Entertainment business. The forum will focus on the key drivers of the industry to propel its growth, namely technology, expectations of consumers and content regulatory challenges.

Topics covered at the forum will include– India as a destination for Animation, Gaming & VFX; Social Networking providing impetus to global peering; role of telecom in the media and entertainment industry directed towards personalization and regional consumption; and the role of Entertainment in bridging the digital divide.

Track B: ICT in Healthcare Forum

The ICT in Healthcare Forum will explore prospects of M-Health in India directed at inclusive healthcare. It will focus on innovative ICT solutions for healthcare services and underline the balance between life and healthcare created with technology. New areas like Health Service Delivery at home will also be discussed.
